Description

This is the rare original deep-groove pressing of Johnny Griffin “Quartet” on the black and silver labels of Argo 624. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The cover is the rarely seen “SPLIT-PAK” design, one of only three in which the record is put in the cover from the center; both halves are bright and clean, and have NO split seams; ¼” wear at the bottom right corner; light rubbing on bottom edge; ¼” discoloration along top of front. Argo reply postcard included. Personnel include Junior Mance, Wilbur Ware, and Buddy Smith. We do not accept PayPal.
