Early deep-groove pressing of Johnny Griffin Introducing on the Lexington (Side 1) and West 63rd (Side 2) labels of Blue Note BLP 1533. The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The dead wax has an etched "RVG" and "P". The non-laminated Lexington Ave. cover is clean and bright throughout, with sharp corners and perfect seams; a ¼" ding and some rubbing at the lower right corner; light foxing on the back slick. Personnel includes Wynton Kelly, Curly Russell, and Max Roach.
