Johnny Griffin-The Kerry Dancers-Rare Orig 1962 Riverside Jazz LP 1st Press MONO
Going to be listing more records from this substantial private collection as I've been searching through it to find some gems.
So many of these will be rare ones, cool imports, original presses, limited editions and so forth.
I will list the artist and title, and along with the gradings given above I will give a detailed description of any flaws to note, and anything else to point out.
This listing is for 'The Kerry Dancers and other swinging folk' by Johnny Griffin Quartet. It is an original Mono on Riverside with the blue label. Two stamps on the back say 'D.J. Copy NOT FOR SALE'. I graded the vinyl VG due to some sleeve marks and a mark in the end of song 3 side one that pops for abut a minute of the song, and a small mark at the beginning of side 2 that will pop for a few seconds. Still has some shine to it and wasn't abused by far, but will play with some minimal surface noise. The jacket has wear due to it's age and life on the shelf and from handling, but still looks great and is sturdy so I would say VG++, just under EX.
