Description
Vinyl records pressed in Lebanon are extremely rare and very hard to find items in any condition, produced for a few years in the late 1960's until forced to stop by the onset of civil war in 1975. All the international artists and bands were popular in Lebanon, and only a few copies survived the last thirty years in very good condition, including limited editions of multi-colored 7" singles and unique white label samples for radio and club DJs.

This massively rare and very sought after lebanese pressed Johnny single hasn't showed up in acceptable condition in a very long while !!!
For those who aren't familiar with Johnny Hallyday's music, the 1st side is one of his all time classic hits, b side song is his version of 'cut across shorty', a song recorded in the 50's by the late Eddie Cochran.
The record plays well and sounds nice throughout in spite the visible marks and groovewear from age and playing. There are no deep needle scratches that cause skips or repeats. I have recorded 2 short samples so you can have an idea how it sounds like.
The samples are from the actual record on offer here, no enhancements or noise reduction, 100% as it is.
Previous owners have written their initials with a felt pen, also are 2 visible initials that seem to be scribed with a sharp tool around the philips logo, possibly a compass.
The original lebanese sleeve is in very good condition, no splts, writings, just some minor wear at opening and a tiny barely visible tear of about 1 milimeter.

The disk will be packed seperately from its original company sleeve in a high quality plain white sleeve and a polythene cover.
