Deep groove, yellow label. Side A includes a medley of ballads(7 tunes) each featuring an artist that appears on the record. The medley comprises 1 long track. There is 1 other tune on the A side. Side B has 4 tracks with the ensemble. The musicians include Hodges, alto sax; Harry Carney, baritone sax; Jimmy Hamilton, alto sax, clarinet; Lawrence Brown, trombone; Billy Strayhorn, piano; Jimmy Woode, bass; Sonny Greer, drums.
Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean. Slight marks from handling and a very light partial record ring on the back cover. Overall, fine condition.
Record: VG++ or Better Visually shows no wear. There are 3 or 4 short, surface rub marks. There are several, very infrequent clicks which are audible on Side A as well as several on Side B. These clicks occur despite the clean condition on Side B and occur mainly on Track 1 The overall condition is fine with the exceptions described. Audibly checked.
