Description

10" 45 rpm acetate of Johnny Mercer (founder of Capitol Records and writer of some of the biggest songs in history, including Moon River, Hooray for Hollywood, and Autumn Leaves) and Gordon Jenkins (arranger for Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong) song "Lovers in the Dark." From a large collection of vintage acetates, this one is a nice VG+ with a few storage marks typical of old acetates. Published by Alamo Music and Massey Music, complete with original cue sheet. I can find no evidence that this song was ever recorded commercially. I don't know who the demo vocalist is, do you?
