Description

Richmond, Virginia’s Johnny Moore and the Fabulous Tempos on the tiny Salem record label from Salem, Virginia: This is a 1963 Tidewater obscurity that blends rock, country and rhythm and blues. “Tessie, The Cow” is a novelty tune with a country flavor. Trumpeter Flip Winters is featured on the R&B/rock instrumental side called “Sundae No. 2”.

This copy grades in VG+ condition with plenty of shine and only minimal light scratches that do not impact play. Labels have no tears or marks. It has been cleaned with an ultrasonic record cleaner as well.

This copy comes from the collection of a recently deceased New England disc jockey.
