PACKING 45RPM RECORDS GUIDELINES:

I have sold over 2,800 items on eBay over the years and have found that the fussiest buyers of all, are folks that buy vinyl records. Previously I have sold an LP to someone, then get a message asking me to do this and pack it with that and on and on, until I thought “Sod this, I’m not doing any more of this stuff.”

Anyway, some of the records in my collection are quite collectable by seeing prices of similar ones on eBay, so I’m having another go at selling some as an alternative to me kicking the bucket in a few years’ time and the recipients of my will taking them all up to the tip.

Therefore, to simplify matters regarding packing, this how each 45rpm record will be packed:

Each record will be posted in a plain white or brown cardboard cover. Photos of the packing cover are shown above. The card thickness is 0.50mm. Where the seal is at the bottom of the cover, the overall thickness is 1.50mm to 1.65mm. On the side edges, the overall thickness is 1.25mm. The 19 – 19. 5mm.square cover is specifically made to post 45s in.

Each disc will be removed from its sleeve and put into the white / brown posting cover and sent to the buyer.

If this is not to the standard that certain buyers require, can they please not bid for any of my 45s on sale. However, if a record sells for a price above £20.00, I might take the trouble to give the sleeve a bit of extra packing.

Please note: Sales to UK Buyers only.

If you have even the slightest cause for complaint on any item, I send to you, please contact me first before issuing negative feedback. I would like and would appreciate the opportunity to rectify any complaint.
