Description
This is the 7" vinyl Extended Play "Shakin' At The Stadium " by Johnny O'Keefe and the Dee Jays. It is a RARE AUSTRALIAN pressing, released in 1958 on the Festival label (FX-5002).
Johnny O'Keefe is credited with being Australia's first rock artist and the release date of the single "Wild One" from this debut EP is considered the birth date of rock n roll in this country. While the EP is billed as a "live" stadium performance, it was in fact recorded in the studio with appropriate female screaming overdubbed.
Tracks are :
Wild One, Ain't That A Shame, Silhouettes, Little Bitty Pretty One
