Johnny Olenn & His Band - I Ain't Gonna Cry No More
(London MSX 1650 UK One Sided Demo 7" Single 1957)
This is a 1957 UK original one sided Demo 7" single pressing. As stated, this Demo 7" single is one sided only. This was common practice with UK Demo pressings at the time. The B-side is blank & has a plain black label. The record A-side has custom orange "London" Demo label. The labels have handwritten track time (1:58) and UK catalogue number (HLU 8388). The A-side has a 45-MSX-1650-1C matrix number. This is machine stamped in the dead wax on the A-side. This single comes with its original "London" company paper sleeve. This track is a classic mid 1950's Rockabilly/ Rock 'n' Roll track. It was famously used in the 1950's film "The Girl Can't Help It". These are very rare.
Vinyl: As stated, this single is one sided only. There are two mild hairline surface mark on the A-side. These measure 3 cm and 4 cm in length. There are mild, more moderate or moderate surface sleeve rubs, or surface rub marks, which can be seen under a strong light. These are on the blank B-side too. Overall, this single is in Good+ condition. The Labels are in Very Good++ condition & show very mild spindle wear & mild ringwear.
The London company paper sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear, fading & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this 7" single. It plays Very Good to Very Good+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. The music still shines through. There are no clicks or pops. Overall, a very decent audio copy!
