Further Notes: Up for auction is Johnny Thunders classic first LP “So Alone” issued in 1978 on the Real Record label. This particular pressing is the original from Germany and has the best showcase of Johnny’s talent at the point The Heartbreakers called it quits. This is the LP with his best song (in my opinion) “You Can’t Put Your Arms ‘Round A Memory” and has members of the Sex Pistols (Steve Jones, Paul Cook) as well as ex Small Face Steve Marriott and Thin Lizzy frontman Phil Lynott all lending their talents to the completion of this wonderful LP. The record is in Near Mint condition and the sleeve is in Excellent condition as is the original inner sleeve that contains pictures and personnel listings and credits. One of the best LP’s to come out of the NYC and London.
All records are cleaned on a VPI 16.5 and are ready to play – records are never playgraded until they are cleaned properly – that way an accurate grading can occur. All records are placed in new Nitty Gritty sleeves and if there is an original sleeve present it is contained in the package for completeness.
I am a record collector with many doubles of LP’s (the nature of collecting!) and shrinking shelf space. I have made it my aim to rid myself of doubles and triples of records that I have picked up over the years and my loss is someone’s gain (hopefully!) Good luck with your bidding!
