Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers- I Can Tell: Unreleased Max's Kansas City, 1976. If you are here you probably know how well regarded the band's Live at Max's Kansas City is (I have a LP copy up for auction, btw), well this is far, far more rare. I have a good collection of Heartbreakers rarities, and this is something I have never seen before. I bought this at a record collector's convention years ago and I have never stumbled across one again. This features the original Heartbreakers with Richard Hell on bass, Johnny on guitar, Walter Lure, and Jerry Nolan on drums. 14 tracks. Played once to make a recording and resealed- so pretty much dead mint. An amazing show- rugged, sweaty, primal rock n' roll with all the slop and spirit and swagger of the Heartbreakers. Just try and find another one of these! No information anywhere on the LP...none. What you see is what it is. The perfect gift for the Johnny Thunders fan.
