John's Children were a 1960s pop art/mod rock band from Leatherhead England,
that briefly featured future T. Rex frontman Marc Bolan.
John's Children were known for their outrageous live performances and were booted off a tour with The Who.
in Germany in 1967 when they upstaged the headliners.
Their 1967 single "Desdemona",a Bolan composition,was banned by the BBC because of the controversial lyric,
"Lift up your skirt and fly".Their US record label delayed the release their album,
Orgasm for four years from its recording date due to objections from Daughters of the American Revolution.
John's Children were active for less than two years and were not very successful commercially,
having released only six singles and one album. But they had a big influence on punk rock and are seen by some as the precursors of glam rock.
In retrospect the band has been praised for the impact they had, and their singles
have become amongst the most sought-after British 1960s rock collectables.
This is the '67 pressing on Track Record.
The vinyl is in Vey Good + condition.Very few marks on the vinyl itself.The label has one blemish on side one where a small part of the lable has been scuffed of just above the year marker.
The sleeve is intact although at some point it has come into contact with water and has staing on both sides.There are no rips or tears in the sleeve.

MINT: The record itself is very bright with very few minor surface marks.There is no deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
