Description
John’s Children – “Orgasm” (White Whale, WW7128). Original USA pressed LP. Titled “Orgasm”, the LP is unusual in so far as the title itself does not appear either on the sleeve or labels (it was removed for the sake of “good taste”). As you will know, the LP features a “faked” live recording by the band, which was produced before Marc Bolan joined the group, but which didn’t see the light of day until this release in 1971. The item is in quite nice condition. The sleeve does have some scuffs obtained during storage, the worst of which are at the right-hand edge (see picture). There are also two small areas of edge wear. Having said that, there are no creases or rips and the sleeve is free of any really horrible defects. The vinyl displays only minor signs of wear and, for the majority, plays like new. The only exception is a VERY faint “click” as the final track on Side 1 fades. Overall, I would say that the item is in as good a condition as you are likely to find after 40 years (that is, if you manage to find it at all!).
