Description
This is a Beatles and Frank Ifield album (1964) from VeeJay Records. Album cover has dark purple background with 'jolly old man' picture. Label on disc is black background with a white unique VJ logo (the other ones I've seen listed have a different logo) and silver printing, with rainbow outer rim. Says 'microgroove', 64-3852/64-3853, #VJLP1085.
Matrix reads: 1-18-64, 1 L1, and VRJ (may be URJ) along with catalog number.
Item is VG+ according to my rating system. Cover is in excellent condition--very little wear; spine is nearly perfect -- has white lettering with title and VJLP1085. Back of cover is absolutely perfect, but has blue paper stuck to it which will come off with correct method--I'll leave that to the experts. One small tear along bottom edge at opening (approx 1/4" or less). Extremely small amount of wear on edges; corners are more worn. One bend mark on top right corner.
Interesting to me that back says "It is with a good deal of pride and pleasure that this copulation has been presented". Should read 'compilation'.
Any questions, lay 'em on me!! Will happily e-mail any requests for additional pics.
