Jon Lord [of Deep Purple] Sarabande LP Purple UK 1st Press - Factory Sample

	£		25
	$		33

Description

An original 1st pressing of Sarabande on the UK Purple label from 1976. Matrix A1/B1. Etching "Nick W". The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original die-cut sleeve with original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Please note this is a factory sample with stickers on the cover and the LP itself.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. This is a very high quality pressing and the audio really does deliver - big time! Interference is minimal. All we detected was a touch of light static momentarily in a couple of isolated spots - i.e. practically nothing. It really is an impressive rendition.
Cover (Ex+) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. That front is pretty much completely free of markings or ageing. The die-cut edges seem to have avoided the usual splits. The rear is in equally good form - no issues at all. All text on the spine and the upper edge are all totally legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and lies totally flat. A great specimen.
Inner (Ex+) Perfect condition. No splits.
