Description

This listing is for a rare original first pressing white label promo vinyl LP of the classic album Blue by Joni Mitchell.


It was released in 1971 by Reprise with catalog # MS 2038.


Record Condition:


Visible signs of surface wear in the way of various light scratches and a few small scuff marks.


Surface noise is present at times, but usually minimal.


There's also some light dust/dirt and a few finger print smudges, so a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.


Clean center labels.


Industry Grade: Middle of the road VG.


Jacket Condition:


Obvious signs shelf wear on edges, spine, & corners.


Ring wear is present.


Wear and blemishes present on the front and back covers.


No seam splits.


Inner Sleeve: Original blue paper inner sleeve (partial seam split)


Industry Grade: VG or VG-.


Stored in a smoke free home, out of any direct sunlight, and away from any extreme temperature changes in the same collection since the 1970s.
