This record is in X- condition.  The cover is VG+. 
When this record was released critics greeted it very positively, regarding it as the "mature" voice of Joni Mitchell.  Regardless of the Freudian bent of the reviewers, the album and its songs were extremely popular and the album made Joni Mitchell a name familiar to most people.
This listed album is most likely from the year of its release, 1969; there have been a good number of re-releases due to its popularity.
The record itself that is offered here plays well and shows Joni's voice as far stronger than her earlier fragile voice. On the first side, the record is quite clean; on the second  side there are non-auditory scuffs and and some scratches as well as some soil.  The soil can be removed be by gentle washing and the other visual mars do not compromise the recording.
The cover is Mitchell's self-portrait.  The lyrics can be fond inside the covers of this gatefold.
