Nicely preserved and original UK copy of Joni Mitchell 's 1969 release of her LP "Clouds"

About the album:
The Outer Sleeve:
Remains in its original factory issue format, bearing only minimal signs of ageing – slight/minimal buffing is visible to the outer edges.This album is believed to be the first of two pressings in 1969 - the first having a single textured sleeve - which this has (the latter being a gatefold sleeve). For its age it is in very good condition.
The Inner Sleeve:
Is the factory pressed white insert and is in good order. It has some aspects of colour fading but appears to be original as it has a UK Patent Number 1,072,944. Foreign Patents Pending stamp on one side.
The Vinyl:
Presents on both sides with a very good, clear glossy sheene.
Side One:
A close visual examination under bright lighting conditions does not reveal any scratches / surface marks that are not of any particular concern to me, I have played this side and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is of good quality and faithful.As with any vinyl - even new one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust - particularly on quitter sections of the album and on intro's play off's, with the right cleaning cloth these can be eradicated. At no time on side one is there any skipping, jumping or sticking.Please see photo's.
Side Two:
Similarly,a close visual examination under bright lighting conditions of side two reveals one or two very light in character surface marks that are not of any particular concern to me again, I have played side two and on my audio equipment the sound reproduction is again of good quality and faithful. As with any vinyl - again, one can detect the occasional crack and pop consistent with hard to detect surface marks or dust on quitter sections of the album - there is though, no skipping, jumping or sticking througout the entire duration of side two.
Overall, and in my considered opinion,this album plays to a good audio standard for its age
