Description

Joni Mitchell – For The Roses

LP, Album, Stereo, RI - PRC Pressing, Gatefold

Used item condition: Record: Very Good Plus (VG+) / Sleeve: Very Good Plus (VG+) - super nice for its age, pushing NM

Condition note: arly “AAA” dead wax mastering and Presswell pressing marks. Vinyl is a strong VG+ with a very clean glossy appearance and light wear only. Jacket also grades VG+ with a sharp well-preserved presentation overall. Beautiful collector copy of one of Joni’s finest early-70s singer-songwriter releases.

Made in US, 1972

First pressing variant, issued on first-generation white Asylum labels with color cage/cloud circle logo at the top.

"RI" suffix in label matrix and "PR" in runouts denote PRC Recording Company, Richmond, IN, pressing.

Original pressings featured a double gatefold design with a print of a water color signed by Joni Mitchell and lyrics in the first gate, and a picture of Joni Mitchell, nude backside, standing on rocks in water and lyrics in second gate.

A Note About Grading

We do our very best to grade records honestly and conservatively. Unless specifically noted, records are visually graded and have not been play-tested. Vintage vinyl can sometimes surprise you?both positively and negatively?and playback may vary based on your equipment and setup.

Most of these records have been around for decades, and while we carefully inspect each one, some imperfections simply cannot be detected without listening all the way through. We aim to describe condition as accurately as possible and would rather under-promise than over-promise.

Thank you for supporting a small seller who is doing his best to preserve and rehome these wonderful records.
