Description
Five unplayed vinyl Joni Mitchell dj promotional copies + "Shadows and Light" (not a promo copy, but unplayed in original shrink wrap):
1. Court and Spark, 1974 - Outer jacket has some marks on front & back -- please see photo -- interior fold-out completely clean. Record in original dust jacket is white label, marked "Not for Sale." 2. Miles of Aisles, double album, 1974 - Records in original dust jackets are white label, "Not for Sale." 3. Hejira, 1976 - Record in original dust jacket w/ B&W photo of Joni is white label, "Not for Sale." Please note that the first track only ("Coyote") was played a few times. You cannot tell by looking at it, but I cannot tell a lie ;-) 4. Don Juan's Reckless Daughter, double album, 1977 - Records in original dust jackets with photos of Joni (as herself & in blackface -- believe she meant it as an homage, but ... ) are white label, "For Radio Station Use Only." Outer jacket has slight wrinkling in upper right corner - see photo. 5. Mingus, 1979 - Record in original clear plastic dust jacket is white label, "For Radio Station Use Only." 6. Shadows and Light, 1980 - Original pressing of consumer copy. Shrink wrapped.
Prefer to sell as a set, but will consider offers for individual LPs.
Shipping is fully insured via FedEx only to U.S. buyers. Please do not request media mail as I am not a high volume professional trader and FedEx is the service I trust to get valuable items to buyers 100% of the time. Shipping charge is based on farthest possible U.S. distance from Los Angeles. Local pick-up in L.A. possible.
More about the collection: All albums in this and my other listings are from my personal collection dating back to a long-ago career in rock radio. Record sales are not my livelihood, so rather than attempt to grade them using a system in which I have no expertise, I prefer to let the photos and my honest descriptions tell the story. If they're described as unplayed, it's because I never played them and there've been no other owners. (FYI, I have many albums that were played, just haven't listed them. Most are in great condition, so if you're looking for something specific, please let me know.)
