I  love Jamaican produced records, they look and feel  great .But also, I can sometimes get  frustrated with the actual sound produced, due to the pressing quality. Over the years I've come to appreciate the quality of UK releases simply for the fact that I can hear just the music without any noisy distractions.I particularly like  music  recorded and engineered in Jamaica which subsequently gets a UK pressed release. Jonkanoo Dub is one of those.Recorded and mixed at Channel One's Maxfield Avenue studio by Ernest Hookim , the Revolutionaries do their thing and the UK Cha Cha pressing presents it clear and clean. I rate the vinyl as near mint and the sleeve is not bad for 40 years old, with a little shelf and ringwear. Supplied in a new, archive quality inner-sleeve lined with vinyl friendly poly-ethylene.
