Description
For sale is Mountains and the Sea, featuring Jose Neto, Flora Purim and Airto Moreira. It was released in 1986 by Water Lily Acoustics. It is a very rare first pressing. I bought this new and have played it carefully on a reference quality turntable. The vinyl is Near Mint. The cover is Near Mint. This is one of the best sounding recordings I have ever heard or owned. It was mastered on a custom built, all-tube cutting system designed by Tim de Paravicini of Esoteric Audio Research then pressed on Premium Quality Vinyl. I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in MFSL inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
