My grading system is loosely derived from the Goldmine system. My records are visually graded. I do the best I can to grade them accurately and after selling thousands of records I feel almost all people have felt my grading was fair or even better than fair. If you ever get a record from me that you are not satisfied with just contact me and I would be happy to work it out with you. The following shows some of the abbreviations I might use.
NM - Near Mint: A record that is nearly perfect. Any visible flaws will be very minor.
Excellent: Record has only slightly visible scuffs and the cover has only minor signs of use.
Very Good: A record that is good enough. The record will look used with surface scratches. The record may have some surface noise but the dynamics will generally overpower the surface noise. The cover will look used with possibly a number of the typical signs of wear. The cover could have some seam splitting.
Good: A well played record and possibly abused. It should still play but there may be distracting surface noise or other issues. The cover may be in poor condition with lot's of issues.
CO - Cutout: This record appears to be cutout with a punch hole, slot or cut corner.
Promo: Promotional copy.
WOC: Writing on cover.
SOC: Stickers on cover.
Gate: Gatefold cover.
BIL: A Bubbles in the center label. The paper has pulled up a bit.
I do combine shipping. The rate will be calculated at actual USPS rates plus a $1 total handling charge for any amount of record albums.
