A great Japanese pressing of one of Journey's most popular and successful albums....'Escape'. Released in the summer of 1981, 'Escape' featured 4 hit singles and sold over 12 million copies worldwide. The band had seemingly created the "power ballad" and invented stadium rock which were by this time, the only venues the group were playing at this point in their career.
The copy offered in this listing is for the highly regarded Japanese Sony 'MasterSound' audiophile pressing (30 AP 2138) which does justice to the superb production and recording on this album.
Cover: Near Mint(minus) .....the only thing keeping it from a full Near Mint ~ Mint grade is a few inoffensive rubs to a couple of the corners. Very solidly constructed.
