Description
This is a sealed copy of Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab unreleased half-speed mastered LP of Journey Escape, MFSL-1-144, from the mid-1980's. Word has it that MFSL remastered and manufactured a batch of these LP's before receiving approval from Columbia. Subsequently, when Columbia did not approve the remastered release, MFSL dropped the project but a few test pressings/production LP's somehow got out. Obviously this is an extremely rare LP. I bought this LP around 20 years ago and have been tempted to open it along the perforated seal you can see in the pictures to see how it sounds, but resisted, and it has been sitting on the shelf in my record collection. I am now selling it. If you are like me and have most or all of the MFSL titles, here is a chance to add this rare title. I once had a number of unreleased MFSL test pressings but this is the only one to my knowledge that has artwork--the others all have plain white jackets. Good luck.
