This is an original, first EP by Joy Division. I bought it almost twenty-two years ago from a prominent collector at the time. He was helping me with my fledgling JD collection, and sold me this copy when he bought an upgrade. The sleeve is actually from his first copy, and the vinyl from his second. He kept the best of both.
It has been stored upright in a plastic sleeve in a smoke-free environment the entire time I have owned it. I have only played it once.
I grade very conservatively
I rate the vinyl VG-. There are surface scuffs and minor scratches. There are no skips when played, but some pops and static.
The cover is Fair+ to Good-. There are creases on the corners and some small tears on the spine (see pics).
Not in the best copy in the world, but definitely an original. I have guarded it with my life, but I need to sell now to a good home as I have fallen on hard times.
This is a good one for someone just starting-out.
