This auction is for the original 1978 release of Joy Divisions first ever EP.
It was purchased nearly thirty years ago in Probe Records, Liverpool, before the band broke through into fame.
It has spent much of the last Thirty years on display in my house, but Ive now decided it is time to sell it on to someone else. To be honest it has been rarely played. Infact other than to test it today, it probably hasnt been touched for the past 25 years, so there is no chance of wear on the vinyl. I am very fond of this record, but I think that its only fair that it should be part of someones complete collection.
It is one of 1200 ever made, and I imagine that it is one of the best in this condition, the record plays fine and is in near mint condition. The sleeve is in very good condition considering its age. This spine is fine with little fraying at the bottom, but this really isnt noticable. The only other imperfection is a small 0.5cm mark in the top right hand corner where I imagine the price sticker once was, this could either be the reminance of the sticker or a small mark left by the sticker. Either way it is only visible when closely scrutinised. There are no creases or signs of wear.
