Description
A lovely copy of the highly collectable first pressing of of "Closer" by Joy Division in Ruby Red Translucent Vinyl. Matrix FACT 25 A1 OLD BLUE? on side one and FACT 25 B-1 on side two. Released on Factory Records FACT XXV FAC25 on 9th May 1980. Includes plastic protective outer sleeve.

I am also including a copy of Komakino (A scarce 1980 UK Factory label 3-track 7" flexi-disc, which was originally given away in selected record stores as a promotional gimmick, also includes Incubation and As You Said [this track is uncredited and also known as'And Then Again'].
The sleeve is excellent for an original white copy from 1980. There is some discolouration and ring wear as expected for a release this old, but it is solid with a fully readable spine. The inner sleeve is solid but has a few small stains (coffee?) The record itself is excellent. It has a quite a few minor surface marks, nothing serious. It has clearly been treasured and played with care. Held up to the light you will see the beauty of the translucent red, which is hard to display in a photo; I have tried.
All second hand records are taken out of their outer sleeve for mailing. All new sealed records are left that way. I am aware that there is divided opinion on this so if you prefer the record to be mailed in it's sleeve, please let me know when paying.
