Description
Joy Division - "Closer" Original US Press Translucent Vinyl LP.
Record - EX. Translucent Brown Vinyl Cover - EX Matte Cardboard slightly textured Inner - VG + Glossy rounded corners. I put the record in a nice MOFI inner sleeve to keep the original as i found it.
I went way down a rabbit hole researching this record. There are many variants even within the initial pressing. The reason I was confused is because of the barcode on the back. Turns out some of them had one and some of them didn't.
The Matrix numbers are consistent with a US first pressing. Plus the wax is of a translucent nature. It looks black until you hold it up to the light. There were different colors of the vinyl and brown is one of them. look in the pictures and you will see the LED lights shining through.
FAC US 6A 11142 (3)+ 6B 11143 (3)+ First pressing also contained an etching in the dead wax of what people either call a "monster" or "dinosaur". This record contains that on both sides.
