180g gram remastered albums, this set was originally released 17th September 2007 as a limited edition of 3000.
Designed by Peter Saville, Daniel Mason and Howard Wakefield.
This unique box set was limited to 3000 copies upon release in 2007. It was the first place that the remastered versions of these albums were presented before they were released separately. Unusually it contains no typeface or images on the sleeves or records inside. The covers and inserts remain BLANK. This is especially unusual to see on the Unknown Pleasures cover, which uses the traditional black textured material. Similarly the card stock used for Closer and Still are the same as the originals (and Still is made of the original Hessian material and contains a ribbon like when
It was first released.) Also contains a black 12” card insert with tracklistings, credits etc.
Although there is no copy or type on the sleeves and record labels , the records themselves contain the original etched inner groove ‘messages’ appropriate to each album.

It’s a beautiful, if unusual, boxed set of three fantastic albums, contained in a sturdy Hessian textured outer grey box.
The overall set is in excellent condition; the records are unplayed, the covers show a few signs of age/ storage wear, which I will list here.
Closer outer sleeve, minor discolouration on outer edge of very white sleeve. Slight ding/ crumple on corner of sleeve.
Unknown Pleasures has a couple of minor blemishes shown in photographs, they are barely noticeable but can be seen if you zoom in on photos.
All the records have an extra separate white inner paper sleeve included for storage and delivery safety, there are two small tears on these additional paper sleeves, but they’re just generic replaceable ones for storage and delivery purposes. The actual thick card inner sleeves (4 in total) are perfect.
The records will be sent in the paper sleeves for delivery and not the original inners to protect them.
In all, these defects are minor and do not detract from the overall look of the record and box set but are included here to be as open and honest as possible. Please do not buy if you aren’t comfortable with these…..
A really nice set of three legendary albums.
