Description

This is a copy of the 12" 33 rpm single Love Will Tear Us Apart by Joy Division, first pressing UK issue from 1980 on Factory Records FAC 23-12  (FAC. XXIII. XII).

The etched matrices are   FAC - 23 - 12 - A   A PORKY PRIME CUT   SPECTACLE IS A RITUAL   LYN 8535 - 1U  MAX  and  FAC - 23 - 12 - B   A PORKY PRIME CUT   PURE SPIRIT   LYN 8536 - 1U   MAX

The vinyl is in Very Good Plus condition with just a couple of faint handling lines on the A side, These don't affect play.. The labels are spotless with no stickers, stains, spindle lines, writing or scuffs.

The laminated cover is in Very Good Plus condition. There are no tears, splits, shelf wear, stickers, stains or writing.  The laminate stops about 3 mm short of the opening front and back and the back of the bottom seam overlaps the front slightly. This was probably a quality control problem with the manufacturer. Plus there is a crease in the laminate on the back near the bottom and a hint of the record inside starting to show through on the front.

The windowed white paper inner sleeve just has one or two faint handling creases.

Comes from a smoke free home.
