Description

Joy Division UNKNOWN PLEASURES. 1979 First Press A PORKY PRIME CUT, the vinyl is translucent, a deep wine red, when held up to the light.
I have graded the album Excellent as under a strong spot light I can see a couple of tiny marks on one side where it has been in and out of the sleeve. The other side is pristine, I can see no marks at all and so that would qualify as Near Mint. The sleeve I have graded as Very Good Plus (see pics as there is a little wear but otherwise in a good condition)

    • Matrix / Runout (Side B, etched): FACT - 10 - INSIDE | A A PORKY PRIME CUT - STEP
    • Matrix / Runout (Sides A & B, stamped): 1 (sideways)
    Initial run of 10,000 copies was housed in a textured cover, pressed by the WEA pressing plant in West Drayton and sold until October 1979.
Textured outer sleeve; printed glossy inner sleeve with square corners.

Note this version has runouts according printed labels and sleeve.
Side A is OUTSIDE (black label). Side B is INSIDE (white label). 

Labels have an elevated ring close to the runouts, characteristic for Tranco Limited pressings.
