Description
Very nice early pressing of Joy Division's seminal LP. The textured sleeve is in good shape, save for a small dent on the spine, a few slight creases, the faintest beginnings of ringwear and minor corner wear. There are a few little marks (as pictured) but given its 40+ years, it's pretty well-preserved. Hopefully, the photos give a good idea.
The inner is in good condition, solid edges with no splits. There are a few smudges, a couple pretty faint, the other less so, but again, great nick for its age.
Now, the important bit...the vinyl. Labels on both sides are excellent, with no notable flaws. The Outside (aka A side) is clean, unmarked and plays through cleanly. The Inside (B side) has a very obvious, visible mark but it doesn't affect playback, kind of amazingly. Maybe a slight noise between tracks, but barely audible, and again, no skips, pops or excessive crackle.
Held up to the light, the vinyl is translucent red.
So, not perfect, but anyone looking all-round very good, playing copy of a rare and influential classic will definitely not be disappointed - hence the returns acceptance.
