Description
I'm thinning my collection and getting rid of a number of classic punk/Indie/alternative LPs. All 'one owner' and only ever played on a quality hifi deck.
Here we have the first pressing of 'Unknown Pleasures' by Joy Division. Pressed by Factory Records (FACT 10) and comes in the textured sleeve. Sleeve has minor age marks, insert and vinyl are mint. Delivered in a pukka corrugated cardboard envelope for safety.
I've had a couple of questions and also done some research about this album. My copy dos not have "PORKY PRIME CUT" on the run-out and it is not red translucent under strong light. It is in a textured sleeve marked Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. I hadn't realised what a cult album this was, nor the subtelty of specific pressings. But I bought it around 1979 so it is definitely not new! Whether it is a first press or not, I can't say but better to describe it fully to avoid doubt. If anyone wishes to retract a bid, that's fine by me.
