Description
This 1969 Harvest record SHVL 763 is a first pressing with the matrix number reading 763 a-1 / 763 b-1, the record label has no mention of an EMI box so is not a later reissue. Side 1 has only the lightest sign of previous use - a few light hairlines, no spindle wear nor scratches. It looks good with a nice sheen, the label is clean with no inscriptions or names written on. Side 2 is even better and looks pretty much flawless the label is also clean and free from writing. I am a pretty conservative record grader especially well listing a rarer item but I would still grade this copy as Excellent Minus. I have given this LP a couple of play through and it sounds great playing with no audible faults, this is not surprising though as Harvest pressings were always very good and there is minimal wear to both sides. The gatefold sleeve I would grade as VG+ as there is a little light creasing to the laminate, and the spine seems lightly faded though the titles are intact and look pretty good. The opening edge of the sleeve seems a little dusty were the laminate stops, internally though the inner gatefold looks great with a picture of a Kevin and 'Girl on a swing' (with some lyrics). The laminate is not peeling nor are there any inscriptions or rips or tears, seam splits or ring wear so overall pretty good.
