Health issues dictate that I begin to part with some of my favourite items. Up for your consideration is the Fenton classic "Hey Little Girl"/"You Treated Me Bad" by the JuJus. This thing has been comped probably a dozen times, so it doesn't need any background info from me.
I use Goldmine grading, but so much is subjective when it comes to moving from one grade to another. Here's my disclaimer: at my age my hearing isn't what it used to be. Also, owing to the instrumentation and recording technology of the time, it is possible that that others may hear surface noise that I cannot. Okay, that out of the way, here's what we've got. No scratches on "You Treated Me Bad", but too many scuffs to make it a clear VG+ (GM says 15-30%, and it's close). "Hey Little Girl" does have a scratch spanning the first dozen grooves, and you can hear it, but NO skips. The label on "You Treated Me Bad" has ring wear that doesn't exist on the other side. Also, it has a darkened area about 1/8 inch by 1 inch, apparently left by tape residue. Overall grade: VG.
