Vinyl is very clean with a nice dark sheen, tilted to the light it has very faint brushing lines only.Played today on my Pro-ject Deck, Sounds better than Excellent, clear, clean and loud with great depth of sound. Awesome music too. Cover is firm and square and has only a touch more than light edgewear , light cornerwear and light creasing/rubbing. Its pretty near EX, some may even grade it EX. It would be hard to find a one of these 1974 matt unlaminated covers with less wear than this one. Very clean labels. Stereo inner is also around EX. Very clean and white with poly fully intact and no splits. No writing, stickers, sticker tears or rips. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
