   For sale is a vinyl record by Judy Collins titled "Wildflowers", originally released in 1967 by Elektra Records. This release has the original gold labels with the large stylized "E" at the top, which Elektra used between 1966 and 1969. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped "MR" inside a circle. alomg with an etched RL, followed by the matrix numbers MON-2/MON-2, indicating that this record was mastered by Robert Ludwig, before early stampers were used to make this first edition at Monarch Record Manufacturing Company's pressing plant, located in Los Angeles, California. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. There is no original inner sleeve with this listing. The cover is graded as Very Good because of ink writing on the back cover, edge rubs, minor corner blunts and faint ring wear. The spine is Near Mint with some faint rubs at one corner. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint, with surfaces that are shiny and bright, in a like-new condition, without any surface scratches, sleeve marks, scuffs or spindle marks on the labels. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. This is still one of the best copies of this album that I have ever seen and you would be hard pressed to find another one like this one, especially a Monarch pressing.
