Description
This Capitol promotional 45 captures Judy Garland in a focused late-career studio moment, issued strictly for radio ahead of a forthcoming album release. Both sides are clearly marked “A MAY ALBUM,” identifying this as an advance promotional record sent to stations rather than a retail single.
Side One features Beautiful Trouble and That’s All There Is, There Isn’t Anymore, written by Gordon Jenkins and performed with restraint and clarity alongside John Ireland’s orchestral backing. Side Two continues with The Worst Kind of Man and The Red Balloon, completing a four-song promotional sampler designed to highlight Garland’s interpretive range rather than chart placement.
