Judy Garland - 78 RPM RARE Record featuring tracks Over The Rainbow / The Jitterbug on Decca Records 2672. Condition is VG- / G+ visually and plays better at VG+ / VG-. Surfaces show some play marks with several light scratches on both sides but nothing deep or terrible to affect sound. The labels both have good color and are legible with some light rubbing on the outside edges and some spindle wear. Play sounds really good despite the markings especially on the "Over The Rainbow" side. Judy's voice is beautiful and sweet as always with the type of character you would expect when she was in her prime. These tracks are from the "Wizard Of OZ" and "The Jitterbug" features some of the other characters from the movie. There is some crackle that would be expected of a record from 1939 but it never overpowers the music or vocal performance with more crackle on the Jitterbug side versus Over The Rainbow. There are no large pops or skips. The record has been well cared for and has been stored in a Decca Records sleeve that looks like the day it was printed. This is a really rare find and we hope it goes to a home that will enjoy it for years to come!
