TRIPPY folk psych cosmic freakout LP by Judy Henske and Jerry Yester, 1969's "Farewell Aldebaran" on Zappa's STRAIGHT label - original pressing! Check out the soundclips below - the outer space mind trip title track and the cosmic gospel raveup "Rapture." This is one seriously out-there head trip!
Original 1969 gatefold pressing. Cover's in VG(+) shape - it's actually very nice but there's a small tear on the upper front cover (see highlight pic). Otherwise, all seams intact, solid, gatefold looks beautiful!
Let's be honest - vinyl grading these days is very subjective. That's why I'll give you some soundclips with each auction so you can judge for yourself how the album sounds - every clip comes from the album you're bidding on. If I were to grade this one, I'd say it rates between VG+ and EXCELLENT, with steady but unobtrusive surface noise that comes from your average well-cared-for but played album. But, above all, listen for yourself and decide. Soundclips are at the very bottom of this listing.
