Description
Vanguard VRS-9197 (mono), "Woman Blue" with Judy Roderick, vocals and guitar, from 1965. Original tan-label vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. Jacket is still in shrink wrap, part of which is wrinkled, and is almost like new with wear-free seams, square corners, and no ringwear on front; the only negative features are some ringwear at top on back and a tiny cutout hole (at upper left on back; see scan). Songs are "Someone To Tell My Troubles To", "Born in the Country", "Rock Me Baby", "Walking Slow Behind You", ""Young Girl's Dream", "Mistreated", "Louisville Lou", "Country Girl Blues", "Contemporary Blues", "Black and Blue", "You Were On My Mind", "Two Hoboes", and "Woman Blue". This was the second of two LPs done by Judy (and shows her talents far better than the over-arranged Columbia album). Payment methods include PayPal, check, or money order. Shipping is $6.50 first-class, $3.00 media mail in continental U.S.; $7.50 airmail to Canada; $13.00 airmail to Japan, Korea, Australia, Europe, and the U.K.; elsewhere inquire. Record is shipped in a sturdy, genuine, oversized, padded LP mailer to prevent any damage to record and jacket.
