Juicy Lucy - Vinyl LP - 1st Pressing Vertigo – with the Philips credit

Description

You are bidding on a rare and original pressing of the Juicy Lucy LP with the same name.  I think that it is a first pressing that is dated September 1969 and includes the Philips credit of A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT under the VERTIGO name.

The record is in a clean and in very good condition condition. There is one light surface mark that I can just see and a small mark inside the playing area close to the label.  Neither of which should affect the playing of the record and are not noticed on a quick inspection of the LP.  Even when new in the late 60’s I did not play it very much, so the sound quality should not be impaired from the original quality. The record is flat has no warps, I will be sending it between two pieces of hardboard.

The gatefold picture cover is in good condition as shown in the photos.  There are some signs of edge wear that you may expect from a record cover that is over 40 years old, and there is a mark the size of a thumb print on the back of the cover near the top left corner that is probably due to the removal of the price label, see photo.  Overall it is in very good condition considering the age of the sleeve and the vinyl.  The record has been stored in a good quality inner sleeve, but it is NOT the original swirl inner sleeve that was sold with the record.
