Welcome to the auction of another rarity from my personal collection
Juicy Lucy was one of the most respected outfits to come howlin' and wailin' out of the Sixties' blues boom. They had style and class. They also had some of the finest musicians of the day, ready to rock and eager to tour. Their debut album 'Juicy Lucy' (Vertigo), released in 1969 became famous for its notorious gatefold album sleeve, depicting a plump, naked lady covered in grapes, bananas and a half consumed melon. This album is the second album ever released on the highly collectable Vertigo 'Spiral' label - a label which became synonymous with everything that was good creative and explored and expanded musical boundaries around that period

The gatefold cover is in good condition with no rips, tears or creases however it is showing signs of wear most noticabley at the top and bottom of the spine although the spine is sti;ll completely intact with all the print on the spine still visible. There are also signs of wear on the edges of the sleeve. There is no writing or pen marks anywhere on the sleeve however there are some minor indentations. I would grade the album cobver as 'Good'. The inner Vertigo Spiral sleeve is still in very good to excellent condition.
The disc itself appears to be in very good condition with only a few very light scratches which should not affect the playing of the album. There are just a few very light and almost imperceptible spindle marks around the centre. Both labels are completely intact and undamaged. I would therfore grade the condition of the disc as 'very good'
I always try to grade my albums very accurately and if anything can be ultra-critical but this is because I want you to know as much information as possible and also to protect my feedback ratings.
Consequently I am prepared to offer a refund (exc P&P) if you feel that I have misrepresented the standard of the disc. I am prepared to post worldwide at cost.
