Description

Lovely album by Julie London, her first, titled "Julie is Her Name." The LP was originally released only in mono and was available only in that format until 1960 when the first issues in Stereo were released. This copy is a first pressing which is easily identified on the liberty labels which have the words in parenthesis (for stereo album only) at the top (see photos). That print was later to be removed on future labels. Also, the labels are not numbered 1 and 2 on the labels...later corrected. 
The cover is still enclosed in its poly-shrink....there are no seam splits, no wear ring, a great spine. and overall, a clean back; there are a couple of small tears in the shrink on the back.  I would grade the cover at a nice vg++. The vinyl is quite beautiful, shiny, and grades at least near mint 9 out of 10. As you can see, both labels are a colorful near mint. Now, I played this LP completely through on my new turntable on both sides and the sound quality was clear and crisp with very quiet background noise even between tracks. A great listen...Questions??
