Description
This is Vik Records LX-1095, Julie Wilson My Old Flame, a black, deep groove label, original mono issue of this very rare cabaret vocal record, with 1S/1S (first stamper!) matrix etched in the dead wax. The record is visually in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear. It also plays quietly throughout. I'm pretty certain it had never been played or been played only once before I play graded it. The original cover has a split and clear tape residue on the top seam (see photo 4) but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. An original rice paper inner sleeve is included. Contemporaneous articles and reviews compiled by the original owner are included as well. Despite the cover problem, this is an excellent collector's grade copy of this rare original mono issue. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple orders. Thanks for looking.
