Original OZ Promo 45" released in 1958 on Leedon Records. Cat: LS550. A-side written by Hank Williams.
June Webb was born into a musical family in L'Anse, Michigan. At an early age, the family moved to Miami, Florida at which time the parents got June and her siblings [Shirley and Ford] involved in singing, dancing, and playing various instruments. According to a 1950s article, June teamed up with her sister Shirley when June was just the age of six and were known as the "Harmony Sweethearts". They did well and made numerous appearances at hotels and other venues around Miamai. When she was fifteen, the family decided to go all in for a show business career but as a family band. The family group toured the country and performed with various Grand Ole Opry acts for about three yearserformed with many of the country music greats, including Hank Williams. In fact, the family was scheduled, along with other acts, to perform with Hank the night he died [01/01/53]. During her solo career she had many memorable appearances and performed at the top venues worldwide, including the Grand Ole Opry. After a brief stint with RCA in the mid `50s June signed with the Roy Acuff Show as the group's lead female singer. One article called her "The Prettiest Smokey Mountain Boy".

There is a light stamp on both sides of labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition.
