You are bidding on a Vinyl issue of Junior Wells’ 1965 blues masterpiece, “Hoodoo Man Blues.” This album was originally released in 1965 on the Delmark label,, and the item for sale appears to be a 1980’s Reissue. (Delmark DS612). The Delmark label is white with blue lettering. (See photos). This LP features not only Junior Wells singing and masterful harp playing, it also features the incredible guitar work of Buddy Guy. Both Junior and Buddy had played in Muddy Waters’ great bands, and this LP is a close to blues perfection as you could find. We try to stay away from exaggeration, but this is in the top ten list of all time Chicago blues albums.
We actually purchased this item decades ago, played it (and enjoyed it!), and it has been sitting in our home (vertically) for the last few decades.
The LP is in Excellent condition. There is wear around the LP cover corners. Please remember that this album was well taken care of, but it was played as part of our record collection decades ago.
