Junior Wells “Hoodoo Man Blues” original 7 West Grand Mono Delmark blues LP Buddy Guy
Very rare original mono pressing of this blues classic – this is the first mono copy I’ve seen in a dozen years, with the “7 West Grand” address on the cover and label.
Awesome band, featuring Buddy Guy on lead guitar, credited as “Friendly chap.”
This is widely considered to be one of the 10 best blues LPs of all time.
Cover is strong VG+, nearly EX.
LP is conservatively graded at strong VG due to two marks, in particular, one on song 1, side A, the other on song 3, side B. I have listened to the album the whole way through, and there are a few ticks during these sections, if you’re listening hard for them, but nothing too obtrusive.
The record plays well the whole way through without skips, jumps, sticks or loud pops.

I try to sell only records that I like and original pressings of mostly pre-1973 albums (before the OPEC oil embargo ruined the actual, physical quality of records) and 45s.
Shipping is $4.00 per LP for media mail, with each additional record costing $1 more.
I package in Bags Unlimited MLP-1 mailers, which are the safest, most efficient way to ship LPs. The boxes are designed to ship one LP with a single cardboard insert or two LPs with no inserts.
I also remove the LP from the sleeve before shipping to prevent seam damage.
Returns are not accepted, but if you feel I did not accurately describe a record, I’m happy to discuss things in the spirit of reaching a compromise.
